What is Virtual On-Line Personal Training and Nutrition Coaching?

Virtual Online Personal Training brings the expertise, guidance and encouragement of a professional personal trainer right to your computer or smart phone.  Because all communication between you and your trainer is via the Internet/Email it becomes  much more of a cost friendly version of personal training, with virtually all the same benefits of face to face personal training (phone consultation is availaible as a optional feature; based on your selected package). Our clients have access to our exercise video library to ensure you know how to perform every weight training movement and exercise.  You can benefit from a single source for your training and more importantly your nutritional recommendations and requirements.  With tested and evaluated proven methods to hold you accountable throughout your Optimum Body journey; from emails, texting and the numerous weekly check-ins which include weight ins, up loading current photo's, dietary entrees and frequent workout modifications and changes, to evaluate the effectiveness of your training and nutritional program.  All developed to keep you enrolled, engaged and progressing towards achieving your goals.  You’re making a commitment to yourself and to us; to get started towards your goals and we are making a commitment to you to assist you with the push, experience and combined with various levels & types of accountability to hold you accountable to help you achieve your "Optimum Body."

What happens once I sign up for Virtual Online Personal Training & Nutrition Counseling?

You will receive an email from us with a link providing you secure access to our "Members Only" database. It will provide you with secure access to complete questionnaires on: Health & Lifestyle, Medical & Body Composition, Dietary History and a Standard Liability Waiver. Once your information has been analyzed, you'll receive a welcome letter from us. Within 3-5 days of receipt of your Welcome email, you will receive the various components of your program. Depending on your selected program, it could include a Nutritional Dietary Plan, Weight Training Program and/or a Cardiovascular Exercise Program with demonstration videos, or a Daily Training and Nutrition Plan with detail instructions.

Are you professional trainers?
We also hold certifications and or degrees through the American College of Sports Medicine, Applied Research Associates and International Sports Sciences Association as a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Exercise Leaders and Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist and a Registered Dietitian.  Optimum Body Solutions is an active member of the Idea Health and Fitness Association, American College of Sports Medicine, International Sports Sciences Association and we carry full liability insurance for our trainers, dietitian and clients.  For additional detailed information, please read "Our History" section on our website.  

Where does the training take place?
We are able to provide extensive training via state of the art tools combined with our VIRTUAL on-line personal training programs.  Our clients also have access to our exercise video library to ensure you know how to perform every weight training movement and exercise. In selected locations with-in gyms the Mid Atlantic Region we provide on-site personal training at several locations.. Just contact us. What kind of a Personal Training Program can I expect?

Your Personal Training Program is a function of your initial level of fitness, where you are right now, towards your fitness goals and where you want to be . It involves nutritional consulting, weight training, cardiovascular exercise and a lifestyle, medical history and body composition analysis.  A complete program designed to assist you in achieving your goals, desires and personal objectives.

How often do I have to train with you?
That is entirely up to you and depends on the amount of time you have, how committed you are as well as your on individual budgetary situation. Usually, we train with our On-Site clients two to three times per week.  The exception to this would be our Virtual Personal Training clients, depending on your goal, the conditioning level and your selected program your frequency working with us my vary (see the menu section under Virtual Personal Training and Nutritional Programs for more detailed information). 

How quickly can I get started?
You can get started on your way to your goals in less than a week. Once you'd completed the enrollment process and it's been review by our team.  We'll email you your first personalized fitness and/or nutrition program within 2-5 business days (depending on which program you select).

Why should I spend money on a personal trainer? I can do it by myself.
Of course, you can train alone. But we believe that our main purpose is to support you, guide you, motivate you and work together with you to develop a customized training program that corresponds to your needs, requirements, problems or opportunity areas, and goals. In addition, we are truly your adviser and coach. We will support your goals and provide guidance in an effort to assist you in achieving your "Optimum Body."

What if I have questions after I receive my program or want to change my program?
All you have to do is send an e-mail to your personal trainer or the nutritionist, which you will be introduced to when you sign up for our service. You will receive a personalized response to your question(s) within 24 hours. We are committed to helping you, so if you want to change your program your trainer will work with you at all times to make sure together we develop a program to assist you in acheiving your goals.

Will I have to do the same exercises every week during my eight-week program?

No, not necessarily, your exercise program will be adjusted or changed every, 1-2 weeks depending on your level of fitness, selected program, individual goals and results achieved.  Your revised training program will be different, including different exercise types, duration, reps or set and/or frequency, so you don't have to worry about getting bored, focusing on maximum muscle confusion. This will also ensure the best results because your body won't adapt to the exercises. When your body adapts (gets more efficient) to an exercise it doesn't work as hard. In order to help your body continue to work hard, therefore burn more calories, our programs are designed with weekly or bi-weekly exercise changes.
